Author's Notes: I may have started it. But I totally blame
min7girl for keeping the ball rolling! (And yes, slowly this starts feeling like a drabble-battle! Fun times!)Merlin wrapped his arms around Arthur's waist and leaned his chin on his shoulder looking down at their precious baby girl sleeping in her little bed. "Don't you think it's about time?"
Arthur hadn't spoken to his father since that day at the barbeque, he was deeply hurt that Uther would do such a thing.
Then again, they never needed Camelot's money anyway. What Uther hadn't know was that Merlin's little social networking platform had taken off like a rocket with more users than old Zuckerberg could have ever dreamed of and a much more clever marketing concept. He had just sold the company and even back when Urther had cut Arthur off, Merlin made more money than they could ever spend in this lifetime.
After a while Arthur had noticed that it was quite liberating to not depend on Uther Pendragon and Camelot Industries and for the last three years they had made it a tradition to celebrate the date.
"Time for what?" Arthur turned his head.
"A new tradition. When Issy wakes up from her nap, we'll go to the barbeque. It's about time for her meet her grandfather."
Arthur took a deep breath and Merlin kissed his neck when he felt Arthur nod slowly. "Alright. Let's make this the day of good news from now on."
