“No, I’m not going to do it,” Morgana said.
“Oh come on, I played the card, you have to do it,” Merlin replied.
They had gotten the card game Uno, and it came with four blank wild cards, so you could create your own. Merlin had written on one, “Do the chicken dance.” He had just played the card against Morgana.
Morgana shook her head. “I’ll look ridiculous.”
“That’s the point. You made the one ‘recite the alphabet backwards.’ Maybe you’ll draw that one.”
Morgana grinned. “Yeah, that was a good one, wasn’t it? All right, I’ll do the chicken dance.” She stood up and awkwardly made her way through a couple iterations of the chicken dance.
Merlin, for his part, didn’t laugh. It wouldn’t have been fair. Besides, she had done it well and that was all she had to do.
