Not Quite a Sonnet
My Merlin, it's truly amazing
that you don't see you've got my heart blazing.
You proved brave and true from the first,
while I know I behaved at my worst.
You brighten my darkest of days,
don't ever change your ways!
I love every strange little quirk
even when I just seem to smirk.
There's no need to do things to charm me,
and your magic doesn't alarm me.
Do you think I am hard to please
and still want you to walk on your knees?
