“Look at her, Merlin. She’s so perfect, so pure.” Morgana gazed down at the newborn lying on her chest, skin-on-skin.
“She’s beautiful,” Merlin agreed, stroking down the baby’s back with a single finger.
“So we’ve agreed on a name, right?”
“Elliana Emrys. Middle name to be discussed later.”
“That’s right.” Morgana smiled down at baby Elliana. “Ellie for short.”
“Yup. But given your raising, I suspect we’ll be using ‘Elliana’ quite a bit.”
“Hey, how about you? You weren’t exactly an angel either.”
“True. You can ask Mum when she gets here later.”
Morgana grinned. “I definitely will, believe me.”
