“So, any thoughts on where you’re going on your honeymoon?” Arthur asked.

“I’ve had a few, but nothing too concrete. Most of the places we want to go are too expensive,” Merlin replied.

“I’ve got a few ideas for you.”

“I’ll bet you do. And only you can afford them, you spoiled rich kid.”

Arthur snorted. “I’ll have you know that these are perfectly non-expensive ideas.”

“Sure they are. You know Morgana and I can’t possibly afford much. We just graduated uni and don’t have much money.”

“I know that. That’s why I looked into a few places for you.” Arthur reached for his bag and pulled out a few glossy brochures. “You won’t even have to leave Britain for most of these.” He handed them to Merlin.

Merlin leafed through the brochures. “Arthur, this is very thoughtful of you, but I’m afraid we still can’t afford any of these.”

“You don’t have to. I want you and Morgs to choose one of these places, and I’m gifting the trip to you as my wedding present.”

“Arthur . . .”

“Don’t say it. Just choose one, please.”

Merlin grinned. “Thank you so much, Arthur. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can.”

“Anything for my sister and my best mate. Just don’t tell my father.”

“No kidding.”

“Now, take those brochures to my sister and have a good chat about them.”

Merlin saluted. “Yes sir.”

Arthur laughed. “Go on, get out of here. Enjoy, you crazy lovebirds.”

“Will do.”
