"This first time I saw you, I knew that..." Merlin cleared his throat and tried again. "I mean you were just so..." He sighed heavily before he continued, "And I couldn’t help but be...." His bottom lip caught in his teeth as he tried to figure out how to say what he wanted to say to Lancelot.
Lancelot smiled as he moved to stand in front of Merlin. "Are you trying to tell me that I've stolen your heart?"
Merlin shook his head and with an answering smile on his face he whispered, "You can't steal what is given freely."
