Word Count: 207
Author's Notes: Aah this is super short and I would've had it written and up yesterday but I got stuck helping my brother with school for 2 hours so that really stunted the growth of the Drabble...but it's short and to the point and I hope you enjoy!
It's a Monday. Merlin had decided to sit at the second desk of the front row today in English. He is farthest way from Mordred and that's good. Only now Mr. Pendragon is more likely to call on him.
Merlin twiddled his thumbs, waiting for instruction until Mr. Pendragon burst into the room, his arm full of clipboards.
"Good morning class! Today I feel like getting creative," Uther said, " So we're going to partner up and write a story."
no no no no. Merlin hated partnering up in classes and doing group projects. It's so foolish, being surrounded by idiots and actually having to talk to people. Working alone seemed more simple and easy.
"Since our last group project didn't go well when it came to getting in your own groups, I'm going to assign you to your own group."
The whole class groaned. Merlin was hoping that he wouldn't get partnered up with Mordred. They've hated each other since that happened a few years ago. But knowing Merlin's luck...
"Emrys! You're working with Mordred over there. Come on, get up and go over to Mordred. We haven't got all day."
Great. And Merlin had actually thought that he was going to have a good day today.
