From everyone's comments, I'm beginning to think that I was the only one who thought this could also be read as dark!Merlin and puppet!Arthur. :o

Oh my goodness this is extremely gorgeous. Just, the flames engulfing them and the barely seen crown, as if it's made of light or nothing at all...

The image of Merlin crowning Arthur... the expressions on their faces...
