She’d stopped counting the number of times she had walked in on them slipping hands under jumpers or down the back of skin tight jeans, in kitchens and lounges and back gardens.
She’d thought it was just the honeymoon stage but somehow, twenty–five years in and the heated, open want had never faltered. They were just as greedy for one another at forty as they had been at fifteen.
This wasn’t a stage. It was forever falling in love.
