Rats! Must be those damn rats again. Stupid rats running around Kay's room. He hated them always scurrying about. The webs of a dream were losing shape in his mind too. Something about rats. Kay breathed even and deep, listening again for the sound that woke him up. Listening for rats.
"Does Kay even count for this? I know he's distant family, but I haven't even seen him assigned to any of the dangerous quests." Arthur. A rat.
"Someone has to stay and watch over the city while you go running off on crazy adventures. Who do you think manages everything while you decide to be the hero?"
"Sir Leon?" Arthur, his cousin must have been teasing. The King was the one who just yesterday thanked Kay for being so loyal and trustworthy. And that without Kay there, Arthur would never feel safe leaving Camelot even for an afternoon ride.
"Leon is usually at your side you clotpole. Kay is who stays here and looks after everything."
"Really MERlin. I had no idea who was responsible for the safety of my lands. Why don't you enlighten me the KING further."
That must have been sarcasm. Yep that was sarcasm. Kay knew that.

Why were they in Kay's room anyway?
