Title: In your wake
Character/s: Whoever springs to mind.
Summary: Someone has regrets
Word Count: 55 (58 with title)
Author's Notes: I was thinking of how the wake from, say, a small bird broadens out across the water the further away the bird swims, and how sometimes the absence of a person can be more noticeable then his/her presence.
Also I like the word 'undulate'.
My world undulates in the ripples you caused. You sail across a clear and still sea with the soft breeze in your hair. You would have to look back to see what has been caught in your wake. Your waves repeatedly wash over me, you touch me long after I let you pass me by.
