For centuries Merlin's life has been a perpetual sunset, his days were bathed in the melancholy of a day slowly reaching its end. The fading light making everything blurred, cascades of red and dark blue making small things cast long shadows and big things blend in with the rest. For years he feared the coming darkness, now he longs for it. Time has taught him that the only thing that cannot hide in the darkness is the light.
