Author's Notes: I enjoyed doing something shorter :) and I don't own Merlin, sadly.
Emrys was out there in the fray, winning the battle, and mowing Morgana's armies down with nothing but a flick of his hand.
But Morgana had the winning card. Arthur, on his knees, bound, gagged and desperately trying to fight off the effects of the Fomorroh, the same magic she had once used on Emrys himself, before she had known who he really was.
She knew Emrys' love for the king would mean he wouldn't try to stop Arthur, even as Arthur buried Excalibur through his heart.
All that was left was to spring the trap, and Camelot would fall.
