"I swear, I was just trying to clean up a bit!"
Arthur didn't know what to say. On one hand, he wanted Merlin to be careful. He was always paranoid that Uther would find out that the manservant he had appointed for his own son was a sorcerer. On the other hand -
"I didn't even know I could make a room smell of lavender... and these fruits - I have never even seen these before. I have no idea what they taste like, and - " Merlin broke off mid sentence as Arthur took hold of said fruit and bit into it, and moaned a little because it was the most delicious thing he had ever tasted.
"So, Merlin," he said, opening his eyes that had closed of their own accord, and looking over at his manservant who was wringing his hands still. "I always knew you were a girl, but this is a bit extreme even for you don't you think?"
"Ugh, this was never my intent. All I had wanted was to do a bit of spring cleaning. I can't help it if my magic is so in love with you."
Arthur chuckled at his pouting manservant and tossed a fruit at him.
"Well I'm glad atleast your magic knows how to serve royalty. Come on, have some of these before they disappear. And for god's sake, get rid of these ruddy birds before they ruin my curtains..."
