Author's Notes: I have an irrational hatred of the epistolary style, so I decided to be a bit unconventional with this one to make it more interesting.





My Dearest Morgana,

In a few days, you will turn fourteen fifteen sixteen eighteen twenty-one. As you will soon be are now a woman grown, there are some facts about your heritage which it is necessary for me to explain to you. The man you call your father Lord Gorlois was a fine man, and one I was proud to call a friend for as long as he lived. However, it was not merely respect for his memory which induced me to take on the responsibility of his orphaned child when he passed away.
